Progress at Ground Zero

After our discussions about the Time of Terror and what is expected and appropriate from citizens and writers after 9/11 I made a post about the lack of construction at Ground Zero. Things have picked up since then, with the NY Times reporting last week that the center piece of the new Ground Zero--the building known as One World Trade--is attracting tenets and well underway. Finally, some encouraging news.

  1. This is awesome news. Nice to see a new world trade center going up. Thanks for keeping us informed. Can't wait to see the progress this summer.

  3. Anyone, anyone . . .

LeeCali, I think GW is building a stairway to heaven across from the metro. Depending on who you ask, the construction might not take that much longer.

  4. For me, this took entirely too long to finally conclude. Fortunately, victims' families get some small semblance of closure.
