    I have never understood the whole Hello Kitty phenomenon. Can somebody explain this to me? What is so special about this cat with pink clothes? Is it just cute or what? Some sort of underlying meaning that I am missing?

    I don't think I can really explain it. But I will say that the most punk rock thing I have ever seen was a Hello Kitty guitar.

    I've never understood the hello kitty phenomenon either, but i guess it's just a childhood thing. but then again, maybe it's not. one of my friends has the hello kitty debit card from bank of america....hmm...
